sea and land excite and inspire.
Lyn Beckett’s art also evolves directly
from the landscape. Graduating in
1993 with a degree in Fine Art, her
unique abstract style contains bold
designs and vibrant harmonies,
qualities which in themselves often
become the subject of the painting.
The stoneware and porcelain
pots at Sòlas Gallery are
often described as having a
‘timeless’ quality. They evoke
ancient and classic forms but
possess a quiet authority when
placed in a modern setting.
Exquisite ‘raku’ pots, with their
beautiful
crackle glazes and rich lustres are a
collaboration
between the two artists.
From both arists a range of framed prints from selected originals is usually available.
